GetResponse Affiliate Program Review
The GetResponse Affiliate program is a program that will allow you to increase your online revenue but, first, what is GetResponse? It’s an email marketing platform that was started in 1997 by CEO Simone Grabowski.
In other words, it’s an autoresponder, that allows business owners to communicate with their list of subscribers.
On the other hand, the GetResponse Affiliate program does not come with the autoresponder when you join. It’s a separate tool that you would need to purchase; if you’re interested in collecting emails.
However, that’s another subject for a later post.
The best part is that you don’t need to subscribe to their services if you don’t want to. You can sign up as an affiliate without having to make a purchase.
I think that is pretty impressive, knowing that many email marketing systems do not allow this option.
GR Affiliate Program How Does It Work?
Here are several ways you can earn with this program, and I will break them all down as you continue reading this review. By the way, GetResponse pays out in many different currencies.
The first two options to join the affiliate program are through GetRepsonse themselves.
By the way, for the two options listed below, you do not have to be a member of the GetResponse Email Marketing Platform.
Therefore, these two options are available to anyone who wants to earn an income online.
Anyhow, you’ll choose between either becoming an Affiliate Bounty or an Affiliate Recurring member.
With the Affiliate Bounty Program, you get paid one-time commissions. You’ll receive $100 for every person you refer to the GetResponse Email Marketing Platform.
On the other hand, with the Affiliate Recurring program, you’ll get recurring commissions. Therefore, you’ll receive a 33% commission on current monthly recurring bills.
Payouts are received monthly, around the 20th of the following month.

However, with Affiliate Bounty program, referrals are verified within 30 days. Then after 60 days as long as the referrals account complies with GetResponse rules, your payment will be received the 15th of the following month.
Furthermore, another option, that GetResponse has is, if you have the GetResponse Email Marketing Platform itself. You can invite a friend.

How Does Invite A Friend Work?

If you see that there are credits available, those credits can be redeemed and applied to your next payment.

Join GetResponse Affiliate Program Through Commission Junction
As you can see, GetResponse has several ways that you can earn an extra income with them. Commission Junction is another option if you prefer to join this program through CJ.
Either way, you can be an affiliate of all the above programs, at the same time, if you so choose too.
Anyhow, the difference of promoting GetResponse using Commission Junction is that your payment will be received through your Commission Junction account, and the payout of GetResponse through Commission Junction is $135.00 for the GR pro paid plan.
Plus, with CJ, it’s best if you have a website and a professional domain email address. So, once you have traffic go and apply to the GetResponse affiliate program, to promote on the CJ platform, you must be approved.
Cookie Duration Policy
Most marketers understand that there is cookie duration. So, with GetResponse, if your referral doesn’t buy right away, it’s okay. They could return and decide to activate their account at a later date.
So, as long as your referral activates their account within 120 days, you could still receive commissions.

GetResponse pays out on a monthly basis.
Above all, the important step that you need to know so that you can get paid is you must fill out your profile correctly and fully.
As you can see in the image below, an account isn’t considered fully set up until you have filled out all account details:
So go ahead and fill out the following:

- Tax Details
- Payout Details
Once you have all the information submitted, you will see a message stating that your tax form is pending approval. There is nothing else you need to do from here as far as setting up your account.
Note: You can receive payouts by US Bank Check, direct deposit, or PayPal.
What Will Not Make You Money?
As you have read, there are different ways for you to earn with this program. However, what you do not know is that you won’t get paid by referring others to the GetResponse Affiliate Program.

The part I didn’t like about GR affiliate program, at first is there isn’t training to teach you what you should do, and how to drive traffic to your link.
I signed up to GetResponse, a while back and never knew what to do with it. So, when I found this community, that teaches how to make money online with affiliate marketing, that’s when I learned how to use my GR affiliate account.
Either way, there are tons of videos on YouTube that you might find helpful.

As a marketer you can promote GetResponse on different channels, such as an email list, start a YouTube channel and explain all you know about the program. Or you can start a blog on bluehost.
Or you can start a blog with the same community, I started with.
To be successful with promoting GetResponse, it is best for you to know and understand how the product works, so, as soon as you can I recommend you to become a customer.
So, that you are able to promote more effectively because, people may ask you questions about the product, and you’re going to want to know what it is.
Anyhow, another way, to promote this product is through Social Media, although I do not recommend you go spamming your links and risk the chance of getting blocked.
My Final Opinion GetResponse Affiliate Review
Since there are tons of email marketing platforms, and competition with promoting this program, it could be daunting at first, but, that’s with anything else online too.
However, as long as you don’t give up, I’m sure you will make a commission sooner than later.
I do like the fact that GetResponse does pay out a generous amount to their affiliates.
Plus, they have so many ways that you can earn, and the best part is that you don’t even need to be a GetResponse customer. Not all email marketing platforms allow this option.
Will you make tons of money? I can’t say it all depends!
It all depends on who you’re able to get the GetResponse product in front of. Like anything else in life, some people like Getresponse, while others do not.
I do admit they have some improvements that should be made with their email marketing platform, but, from where they use to be. They have come a long way. I am a customer of GetResponse myself, so, that shows you that people still invest in this product.
With that said they are always improving their user experience so, the potential of earning an income is undoubtedly there, and it’s a great option to start making an income if you choose to promote this product.
