Send Shark Autoresponder Overview

Hey guys, I am writing this post to update, the previous review, that I have written on Send Shark Autoresponder.

It’s been a week or two since I signed up to the company, and ever since then, there has been nothing but, confusion, frustration, and a little disappointment. I’ve been battling back and forth, with myself, and wondering, if I should write this review or not.

I don’t want to seem like a complainer or some crazy lady but, the truth is the truth, and I need to make sure the people that are reading my blog post, are not confused, period! It will make me feel more comfortable with my life, knowing that we’re all on the same page.

So, if you’re curious about Send Shark Autoresponder, you’ve come to the right place.

Here are some common questions that you may have asked yourself

  • Will, it fit your current business?
  • Is it the right choice?
  • Is it a stand-alone autoresponder?
  • Is it easy to use?
  • Can you use it for any business?

Well, worry no longer, you’re not alone, I had the same curiosity, so I encourage you to stick around and find out what happened to me.

Although I had questions, about the autoresponder, I thought, hey, I’ll learn all the answers, as I go through the software. Regardless, I was excited to use Send Shark, and even more excited that I was getting an out of this world deal.

From all the YouTube reviews, that I watched, everyone said, yes, you can use it for your current business, which is true. You can use this autoresponder for any business. However, the real question should have been, why would I use this autoresponder over a standard autoresponder like, GetResponse, Convertkit, Aweber, and the list goes on.

I’m sure you probably heard of the deal, they had going on, and at the time of this post, that deal is still available.

If you don’t have a clue of what deal I am talking about, Send Shark is giving you an autoresponder with 50,000 subscribers for $25, which is an excellent deal, especially for those of us who are budgeting.

Their monthly price, plus the number of subscribers, you’ll get are beating many email marketing platforms, right now.

Anyways, here are some things, that has changed my opinion, about being a Send Shark autoresponder member.

Deceiving Custom Sign Up Form

The customized sign up forms look fantastic, within the Send Shark back-office but, once they’re set up a blog post, it was hideous. Maybe, I was using the form wrong who knows.

I can tell you; it wasn’t what I expected.

If you’ve ever used or seen anyone else use convertkit sign up form, Send Shark sign up form definitely, couldn’t compare. Convertkit is a winner when it comes to placing a sign-up form within your blog post. Also, with Send Shark, it is not a popular autoresponder, so it can only connect to your blog or website via, HTML coding.

So, what I’ve learned is, you’ll have to keep in mind when choosing an autoresponder, you’ll want to look for features that will benefit you and your business. Especially, when it comes to connecting with other services, like Webinar marketing software, API keys, third party landing pages, and so on.

Send Shark I don't Know About This Requirement Of Writing Two Emails In One Setting

Emails Have To Be Written Twice

Nonetheless, although the customized form was frustrating to use, it was just a form, and that is something that I could have handled. In addition to this my other complaints were minor, so I pushed on and kept using the software.

By the way, did I mention, each email had to been written twice before the system will allow you to set it up and send it out for email automation?

Well, it’s true that each email within your email sequences has to be written out twice. Of course, you could write the email within the HTML Box, and then you could copy and paste the email into the second required field, which was called the Text Box. Plus not, only did you have to copy and paste the email into the text form, you had to add all or any links or websites that you previously inserted in the HTML area, again.

However, until, this day, I can’t figure out what was the purpose, of all of this. I can, however, tell you it was annoying, and it caused me to lose time.

Some Features Were Amazing

On the other hand, setting up your email campaigns, and using the page builder was pretty self-explanatory. In fact, I enjoyed using this portion of the software.

It was easy to use, easy to write your email, and they did have a few other features that some other autoresponders don’t offer. You can insert affiliate links, embed videos or images, and you could change the text font, plus many more features.

Indeed, it had cool features, excellent graphics, and landing pages, banners, and page builder options were fantastic.

So, what was the problem? The significant and final decision for me was when I sent out an email to my subscribers. By the way, I purposely subscribed to my own email list because I needed to test things out. How else, would I know what my subscribers were viewing or reading?

The Final Draw Of Send Shark Autoresponder

The Final Draw

To make a long story short, in the email that I sent out to my subscriber’s list, there were links that I didn’t insert. These mysteriously added links were to a third party company. When Send Shark said they were the most powerful email marketing system, in the industry, they weren’t lying. In fact, I immediatly, like I was being hustled!

Their email marketing system is so, powerful that it mysteriously had added third-party company promotions within my email messages.

How did they add other links within my email? I don’t know, but, as stated earlier Joel did mention, his email marketing system is the most powerful in the industry.

He was right, because, while I am talking to my subscribers about Wealthy Affiliate, this powerful email marketing system, changed my links, and sent all my subscribers to a third party hosting company.

Which by the way the owner of Send Shark, also owns that same hosting company, that redirected my subscribers. It is called GVO.

My final Opinion Of Send Shark Autoresponder

Regardless, now I’ve got that off of my chest, you should understand why I will no longer support this company or recommend them. Please don’t think or assume Send Shark is a scam becuase, they’re not but, changing links within someones, email automation is not cool at all.

This could have caused significant confusion to my readers, and it could’ve made it seem like I was scamming others, which I am one of the very few people, that stands by honesty. I help people avoid scams and not run into them.

Regardless, of money, features, or benefits, I believe in integrity. I have a conscious, and I don’t believe in recommending products that are not trustworthy.

If I would’ve continued a relationship with these people, who knows what other tricks they had up their sleeves. Regardless, I don’t feel comfortable, supporting them any longer.

Don’t get me wrong, Send Shark is an excellent autoresponder, if, and only if, you plan on promoting all or some of Joel Therien’s other businesses.

In other words, if you plan on using this autoresponder for your primary business, plus any of the Now lifestyle, GVO, or any other business product that this company offers, then yes Send Shark autoresponder may work out for you.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for an autoresponder that is truly standalone, and you don’t want to be paranoid if you’re subscribers are getting promoted to by another company, then I honestly can’t recommend Shark autoresponder.

If you’re like me and don’t plan on signing up to become a Now Lifestyle member or a GVO member, this autoresponder is not for you.

In my case, I just needed an autoresponder, to build a relationship with my readers, and after they have pulled this stunt, I’ve realized that this could have ruined me any many ways.

Anyhow, enough about that, the bottom line, is I no longer recommend this product. I don’t trust or believe in their practices, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
