There are many apps out there that claim you can get paid from doing certain task.
I myself have used several apps on my smart phone, which rewarded me in some sort of way. From my personal experience, none of the apps I have used gave me the possibility of making a part-time income.
When I came across the AppCoiner, I was curious just like most of you reading this post. Curious to know how this app really worked. After joining their email list and opting into sign up as a member I was taken to a sales page that Congratulated me, and advised me that I have reserved an AppCoiner Membership. So, far so good, right?
I proceed to activate my membership and was immediately asked to pay $27.00. Right from the beginning I knew this was a red flag. Why would I have to pay to review other developers apps?
So, I declined the offer.
After declining the offer I was then offered a discount of a very low price of $17.00. Now, I was skeptical of proceeding. And, here is why.
Whenever, you’re offered one price, then you decline, and then offered another pricing, usually this means that the business is trying to entice you into joining their opportunity. Not, always is it a sign that the opportunity will be useless but, most of the time it can set off alarms.
What did I do?
I did not buy into the program. Instead, I decided to do an intense investigation to see what is really going on. And, here is what I found. I found that the program is not a scam, money could be made with this program although, it is not as easy as the sales page makes it seem.
In the program you’ll learn to link and write reviews about products and apps. Writing a review is not as easy as it sounds. It does take practice. And, apparently this is nothing that will be covered in detail.
To earn a commission on any product with AppCoiner, you’ll need to get sign ups and sales after someone has downloaded the app that you just wrote a review on. Writing a review about products and apps can be helpful and this is a great way to earn a commission because, it allows the person buying or looking into a certain product make a more informed decision. It’s basically the same concept of what I do.
The difference is, the way that AppCoiner teaches its members can be kind of difficult. After signing up as a member you’ll receive a pre-made website.
With the pre-made website you’ll be able to write your reviews about the apps and drive traffic to that website.
If or when someone signs up to your email list, clicks on your ads, or downloads an app that you have reviewed, you’ll get paid. Easy, right? Wrong, it is not that easy.
Here are some things I noticed that you’ll have to learn that is not shared within the AppCoiner members area:
- Driving traffic
- Keyword research
- Getting ranked on google
- You’ll need to learn how to build an email list
- How to properly write a review
- Important to know the difference between a pre-made site and a registered domain site
3 steps that you’ll learn within the membership area:
Step 1: You’ll be shown how to set up a ClickBank account. ClickBank is an affiliate network. An affiliate network in a nutshell is a network that houses many products that you can promote and earn commissions from, if someone was to click on your affiliate unique link and make a purchase of the product you are promoting.
Step 2: Log into your new WordPress, you’ll be taught how to create and publish your first product review but, First you’ll have to test the app. Then write the product review. When writing a review in order for it to be published it has to be a thorough review. It can’t be short and sweet.
Step 3: It’ll show you how you’ll make money with the program. And these are the ways:
- someone buys the app that you review
- Banner ads – someone clicks on your banner ad and they purchase a product through your banner ad.
- Your email list- if you build an email list, you’ll to be a able to promote products to your email list
The Good and Valuable:
- Product reviews can teach you what to avoid and what to dive into
- Product Reviews can be profitable, but only if done the right way
The Bad and Ugly:
- Although, I would not recommend buying into this program the cost is low
- If your new online you may learn a thing or two but, nothing can be learned in this program that will help you succeed.
- There were up sells and down sells
- The sales page makes it seem like all you have to do is download an app and give a review. That’s not true
- You’ll actually need to put work in by providing reviews
- Google prefers registered domains and not pre-made sites
- A pre-made sites may not get ranked into Google so, you’ll need to learn to drive traffic
- All you need to know about succeeding online is not provided in the AppCoiner members area
Who is AppCoiner For?
AppCoiner is not suggested for everyone. Actually, I do not recommend this route at all. Keep in my mind that you will not receive a full time income just by reviewing and testing apps on your mobile phone or tablet.
AppCoiner Tools & Training
There is no solid training and the only tools that you are provided with is the pre-made website.
The only support that I could find was by submitting a helpdesk ticket.
And who knows how long that will take to get a response.
I also noticed on the sales page that you can leave a message and someone will get back to you.
There were up sells and down sells. The original pricing was $47. However, it appeared as the $47 was discounted because the $47 was crossed out but, was it really discounted?
No! It was not discounted at all. If you read the sales page carefully somewhere down the middle of the page it will say something along the lines of United States app testers are in high demand so we can offer you a $20 discount.
After I declined their so-called $20 discount, a $17 offer was presented. I declined that as well.
My Final Opinion of AppCoiner
AppCoiner appears to be a legit company however, I do not recommend anyone to try this out. Especially, if you’re new online. If you’re not new to the online space. I wouldn’t recommend this AppCoin to you, either because, it is best to have your own registered domain so, that you can build up domain authority.
Writing product reviews can be beneficial, it is actually the same thing I do but, inside the program from what I discovered there is no sound training to help you along the way. Although, it may seem easy to just jump on the internet and make money in a blink of an eye. I am here to tell you it does not work that way.
From my personal experience pre-made sites are hard to get ranked into Google. Heck, they may never get ranked into google. Why? Because you are not the one who built the site. You do not know what keywords were used. You won’t have any clue as to what possibilities the site will bring you, when you did not build the site yourself.
I have a pre-made site for 6 months. Not the only you are currently viewing but, another site that was built pre-made and it gets no traffic. Nor, can anyone see the site. It just sits there hopelessly.
Truth be told, It takes some time and work to get a site ranked into Google. There are actually steps that you need to take and learn so, that people can actually see what you have to offer.
You’ll need to learn how to research for keywords and how to use them. You’ll have to learn how to Build domain authority and write proper quality content. Furthermore, you’ll also need to learn how to link the product to your review.
If you have some SEO training, then this program could work for you. Although, anyone with SEO training probably wouldn’t want a pre-made site.
If you would like like to learn the proper way to build a product review site for free with my # 1 recommendation go and read my review. You’ll learn everything you need to know in creating a profitable product review website and it is free to get started.
