Welcome to the MyPoints Rewards Program Review!
Today, I want to go over a program that can help you earn some extra money.
If you’re looking for ways to add funds to your bottom line, then stay tuned; this review is may be for you.
What Is MyPoints.com About?
If you’re familiar with Swagbucks, then you’ll be comfortable using MyPoints. They both work similar.
If you’re not familiar with them. Here’s a brief explanation.
It is a site that allows you to earn by completing different tasks.
Meaning that you can earn points for completing small tasks, which can then be redeemed into money, gift cards, or you can add travel miles to your United MileagePlus account.
How Does MyPoints Work?
It’s reasonably easy to use MyPoints. With that said, you’re probably already on the internet completing most of the tasks, that can earn you points.
So, why not earn money in the process.
Step 1: Join MyPoints
You can join MyPoints free. All you need is a valid email address and a PayPal account.
Make sure your full name and email address, all match your PayPal account information. This is an important step that you want to complete because it will help when you redeem your future points.
By the way, this program works best with people who live in the United States and Canada.
Step 2: Start Earning Points
You can earn points in various ways, and I’ll go over them later in the review.
Is MyPoints Legit?
Yes, it’s legit.
Prodege LLC is the parent company of MyPoints, Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, and ShopAtHomeDollars. Plus they have many more leading market research and brand companies all associated with this company.
According to the better business bureau, Prodege has been in business since 2005.
However, MyPoints was only acquired by them on April 19, 2016, but, MyPoints themselves have been in business since 1996.
The point is they are legit.
How Can You Redeem MyPoints?
As mentioned earlier, you can redeem your points in 3 different ways.
By the way, I know some may wonder what the point value for each point that you earn is? Well, there isn’t a point value. Each gift card holds different point values.
For example, if you want to put $25.00 into your PayPal account, you’ll need to accumulate 3,970 points. Then if you want a $25.00 Foot Locker card, you would need 3,520 points.
So, the point value is different with each redeeming option.
From my experience, your total points, which is located in the top right-hand corner of your account will include any available points and pending points.
Therefore, the available points are what you can redeem at any time, and the pending points, well they are pending and not available until they have been released.
Either way, when you redeem your available points, it’ll show on your dashboard what you can afford.
3 Ways To Redeem MyPoints Rewards

If you choose the gift card option, there are 70+ top-rated restaurant and retail brands that you’ll have access to.
#2. Cash

If you prefer to add travel miles, then you’ll have the option to add miles to your United MileagePlus account.

Anyhow, when you visit Walmart.com from your browser your coupons or any codes that are available at the time of your purchase will activate. You’ll make your purchase as usual and earn points.

Are There Similar Sites To MyPoints?
Yes, I’m glad you asked. There are similar sites to, and I will list them below.
My Final Opinion Of MyPoints Rewards Program
The bottom line is MyPoints Reward Program isn’t a scam, and yes you can earn extra money with it. The only thing I don’t like about MyPoints is it can be a time-consuming and take a lot of your time.
Therefore, the time you spend trying to earn the points could have been used more productively. Either way, it’s your choice if you decide to join MyPoints.
However, if you are looking for a way to change your financial situation, there are better options available. Therefore, I strongly recommend you start a website. A website is what will allow you to earn in multiple ways.
The best part is there is a training that will teach you how to get your website started and monetize it. The community that I trust the most for this is called Wealthy Affiliate; they teach complete beginners how to achieve success online.
If you’re interested in changing your overall bottom line, then I recommend you check them out. Besides, you can get your first ten lessons for free. There is no credit card needed. Therefore, there is no risk.
