i-Say Overview

Recently, when I applied for American Consumer Panels, I was advised during the application process to enter my information at this site, i-say.com.  Of course, curiosity hit in, and I wanted to know if it was a legit site, and if it is, is it worth my time. This what I discovered. I-say is a surveying site, who believes in allowing you as the consumer to voice your opinions. Ipsos powers i-say the survey site. As a leading Global Market Research company, founded in 1975, Ipsos, the company that powers i-Say is the third largest market research company in the world.

With that being said, they have over 15,000 employees who are located in more than 80 countries. i-Say provides fresh perspectives on current issues and trends that we face today. With more than 70 million interviews done a year, to serve more than 5,000 clients; if you’re looking for a legit online survey site i-Say maybe one of them.

How Does It Work?

Getting started with I-say is simple, you sign up for free, then you’ll take surveys that are available to you, and hopefully, you’ll earn points. If you earn points, then you’ll have the potential to redeem your rewards.

On the other hand, I must admit that earning points isn’t the easiest thing to do with i-Say. First, of all, you’ll need to spend some time answering questions. The point of asking you all of these questions is to see if you even qualify for a survey.

I’ve noticed after being disqualified for countless surveys that, you could end up wasting a lot of time on answering questions, that may not benefit you in the end. Sometimes, i-Say will ask you the same questions over and over again. I guess to make sure you’re paying attention, and not just trying to click through the items.

i-Say Will Ask You The Same Questions Over And Over Again

i-Say Getting To Know You Survey

In fact, the very first survey you’ll get is when you signup. It’s called the “Getting to know you survey” During this initial, survey you are asked all kinds of things, from name, address, income, to how many kids you have. The “Getting to know you survey” is a survey that will determine your demographics.

One thing, I’ve also noticed, that even though i-Say says, they have recorded your demographics, in the beginning, they are always asking you for your family size, income, race, gender, and so many more repetitive questions. It gets annoying. Anyhow, so far, I’ve used this account for a short time and earned 20 points. It’s far from being able to redeem the points for any rewards. According to i-Say, after you have made 500 points, then you can redeem your i-SAy points at any time. You’ll need to sign into your account, click the rewards links, and then make sure your address or profile information is up to date so that i-Say sends your order to the right place.

How Do You Qualify For The Surveys?

To qualify for surveys, it depends on what specific characteristics and demographics they are looking for at that time. Sometimes, i-Say is only looking for a certain number of respondents, while other times, they are looking for different criteria.

Today, as I was attempting a survey, and after I spent 10 minutes answering questions, I found out, in the end, I disqualified for the survey. i-Say immediately asked me if, I would like to keep going, because, they could potentially find me another survey that I may qualify for, so I agreed.

Anyhow, I spent another 5 minutes answering more questions, and I get a screenshot saying, “Oops we no longer require survey respondents at this time. Needless, to say, at least they still rewarded me with 5 points for wasting my precious time.

I-Say Has Enough Respondents At This Time

Can You Earn Will Money With i-Say?

In short, i-Say gives out rewards by trading the points that you earned for gift cards, e-cards, Amazon.com gift cards, PayPal funds, iTunes codes, Starbucks eGifts and many more. The best part is that your points will never expire as long as you remain an active member.

Good And Valuable

  • It’s FREE to sign up.
  • Your points are updated almost immediately
  • Even, if you attempt a survey and don’t qualify i-Say at least tries to compensate you for your time.
  • All your points and surveys are tracked.
  • There are different contest and polls always going on.
  • You can redeem points for charity donations or chances to win a dream vacation.

The Good And The Bad

Bad and Ugly

  • It takes a lot of your time to complete the surveys.
  • You won’t qualify for all surveys.
  • It can be frustrating waiting on a survey to take
  • The rewards are meager, you won’t get far with this.

Who Is i-Say For?

i-Say is for anyone who has time on their hands and loves taking surveys. I, myself enjoy taking surveys, especially when I know there is a prize at the end but, I have to admit i-Say frustrates and reminds me of another survey site that I reviewed in the past which was Survey Savvy.

In my opinion, they’re a waste of time, especially if you’re looking to generate real income. It seems like you’ll be spending more time getting denied for a survey, instead of getting approved for a survey. Besides, I have made more money, with my Google Opinion Rewards account than these two sites put together.

On the other hand, if you are trying to make side money, then i-Say will help you with that, although, it could take a lot of time.

i-Say Tools & Training

With this survey site, you will not need tools or training. It is self-explanatory, the website will instruct you on every step that you must take to become a member.

i-Say Support

Surprisingly, i-Say does have support but, first they would like you to check out their FAQ’s section. If after reading through their FAQ”s section and you still need assistance, you are in luck. i-Say has a contact form that you can fill out, which you provide the i-Say support team with any questions or concerns and they will get back to you as soon as they can.

i-Say Price

I-say is free to join and you can cancel at any time. Just go to the FAQ’s section and follow the instructions that are given to you.

My Final Opinion of i-Say

This survey site all depends on what your goals are in the end. If you’re looking for real ways to generate an income, I definitely wouldn’t be starting with i-Say. I could only imagine it could take you years to see even a minimum wage-profit.

There are more natural ways to earn an income from home, like getting a work from home job. Alternatively, start a blog and learn affiliate marketing. If you would like to learn more about how I got started, please read this article. Go here!
