Is mysurvey.com a legit website? I’m sure you’re wondering the same question, that most are asking. I came across the mysurvey.com site when I signed up to the American Consumer Panels, work from home job.
When filling out the supposed job application with American Consumer Panels, they claimed that I needed to complete two steps, before I could be considered for the In-Home Usage Product Tester.
The first one was to answer 5 simple questions from the American Consumer Panels, and then I was directed to sign up to i-say.com. After completing i-say.com demographics, I was then informed to sign up to mysurvey.com.
The reason why ACP wanted me to sign up to these two sites is, they were claiming, that to consider me for the right product testing opportunity, in my home, they needed to review my demographics. However, there was a catch! They could only evaluate my demographics by the two above, third-party survey sites.
Anyhow, I knew it was a catch but, to prove to you that these two sites are not worth your time, I went forward with both steps. So, today, in this review you’ll learn what mysurvey.com is.
Is Mysurvey A Legit Site?
Mysurvey.com is a legit site; however, if you’re looking to make a lot of money with it, this is not the route you’ll want to take. First of all, when I signed up to the site, I had the hardest time getting logged in. I had to register twice, and then when I finally got past the account registration, I couldn’t log in.
With all of this frustration going on, I had to change browsers twice before, I could eventually get into the account. Can we say time-consuming? Yes, it was very time-consuming.
After I was logged into the account, I was given five surveys. With that being said, It took me about 30 minutes to complete all five polls, and in the end, I was disqualified from ALL 5 surveys. Not only was I disqualified but, I noticed that mysurvey.com, didn’t offer, an incentive for wasting my precious time. (I take that back, they did enter me into a sweeps entry.)
At least with i-say.com, they give you 5 points, even if you attempt a survey and are disqualified. Anyways, the disappointing part is that mysurvey.com is part of a company called lightspeed.com. Both of these companies are owned by WPP, which happens to be one of the world’s leading communication service groups, so, mysurvey.com is legit. In fact, they have been collecting U.S. Consumers opinions since 1946.
The biggest disappointing part is since they have been collecting U.S. consumers opinions for so long, I expected a better user experience and a more accessible way to earn points.
Anyhow, I was snooping around on the internet and found that mysurvey.com didn’t have the best reviews. Check out what some of the users had to say. Click here to read the reviews.
How Does Mysurvey.com Work?
Unlike Survey Savvy, mysurvey.com works just like most other survey sites, where you have to earn points by taking surveys. After you have accumulated a certain amount of points, then you can redeem those points for a reward.
The problem with most survey sites is that you’ll have to wait on survey’s to be available. For this reason, I recommend, Swagbucks because, you won’t have to wait as long as you would like most other survey sites. Besides, with Swagbucks, there are plenty of ways to earn money. Read my review on Swagbucks for more info.
The Good And Valuable
- It’s free to sign up.
- It’s a legit site.
- You can earn points and cash them in for rewards.
- You can earn points by taking webcam surveys (make up to 250 points)
- They claim that you can earn points by taking Facebook surveys through their Mysurvey Facebook App
The Bad And Ugly
- Like any other survey site, it takes a lot of time to earn points.
- Surveys are not sent out immediately.
- You may have login troubles as I did. (Try to change your browsers or clear your cookies)
- You’ll probably disqualify for many surveys before you can earn any points.
Who is Mysurvey.com For?
This site is for someone who has some time on their hands and can take the surveys whenever they are available. From what I noticed the surveys don’t come every day. When you do get an opportunity to participate you must qualify for each survey. Please note that you may not qualify for all surveys and this is normal, especially with most survey sites.
Mysurvey.com Tools & Training
As far as tools and training, you won’t need any for a survey site, and it’s not a job or an online business. It’s just a way to earn a little extra change.
Good news! There is support. You’ll have the option of going through there FAQ’s section. You’ll type in your keyword or your question,
The best part about this survey site is, it’s free! You won’t need to take out a credit card or anything. All you need to do to get started is enter your personal information at the mysurvey.com survey site.
My Final Opinion of Mysurvey.com
The bottom line, is this survey site, is not a scam, but, it could be the same as working four full-time jobs if you are trying to make a living from it. I would only use this site if I were trying to earn little things from it (like extra change, gift cards, or X box live money and so on), as I do with Google opinions. I use Google opinions survey mobile app, to watch newly released movies on YouTube.
Anyways, there is definitely a better way to earn money, if you enjoy taking surveys. I would recommend Swagbucks. You can also check out my review I wrote a while back on Swagbucks.com.
